The aerospace and aviation industry saves $1,000 for every $1 it spends catching and identifying critical defects before they enter the production process[1]. Not only are the costs associated with finding defects early significantly lower, the quality of production increases significantly when defects are found early in the manufacturing process.

In addition to the monetary savings and cost avoidance, there are a number of other savings associated with capturing defects at the earliest possible point, including:

- Employee satisfaction increases

- Value added activities increase

- Fosters an environment of continuous improvement

- Supports other manufacturing metrics

- Increases customer satisfaction

- Reduces No Fault Found issues

- Reduces early use failures and/or dead on arrival incidences

In the age of outsourcing and just in time, dependency on ‘certs’ and supplier quality processes many organizations have let their guard down on incoming inspection. Assuming suppliers are delivering to specification is not a sound practise. Your motto should be ‘trust but verify’.

Our EXZ product provides manufacturers with a quick and easy electrical check of incoming products with all the traceability required to ensure that any cables, harnesses and/or connectors entering your production system is to the standard you expect.
